VCS Chapel Services
We are looking for student help in assisting with music for chapel services, either vocally with piano or guitar! If accepted, students will be responsible for practicing with the “Chapel Music Crew,” assisting the music teachers in choosing music and helping to lead the student body singing along with organizing and updating the songbooks. Students are selected not only for their musical ability, but also on a personal testimony “in-and-out,” including a recommendation from a teacher or administrator. Please see Ms. Young for more details and an application.
The Yearbook staff is selling Smencils for the New Year! Smencils are pencils that come in several different FUN scents: strawberry, kiwi, blueberry, pineapple, PB&J, bubble gum, orange, blue raspberry, root beer and black cherry! The staff will sell them for $1 each to help raise money for the several VCS Yearbook enhancements. The Yearbook staff will work the elementary classrooms selling Smencils during the Junior/Senior high break and lunch periods.
